Students will have a strong foundation of Anatomy and Physiology, Medical
Terminology and Pathophysiology.

Students will be able to confidently conduct a thorough initial and ongoing
massage assessment for each client, to ensure safety and to individualize
the massage session to meet their client’s needs.

Students will have a thorough understanding of therapist self-care
(including injury prevention).

Students will have an understanding of the importance of maintaining a high
standard of professionalism in the field.

Students will have developed a resume and other necessary tools to
successfully find employment.

Students will have a basic understanding of the process needed to submit
insurance forms and how to deal with the insurance companies.

Students will have advance
knowledge of the lymphatic system and will be able to perform Manual Lymph
Drainage.

Students will be prepared for the National Certification Exam.
